Had to bring my kid in for a special x-ray for braces & everything went smoothly until after i left & got home, i received a call stating i was needed to come back in to fill out some paperwork that they forgot i needed to fill out. well i drove back (lumberton to Port Arthur) & come to find out there was no need for me to make the trip due to no paperwork needing to be filled out on my end (even though i was told there was) so i left. Needless to say i understand mistakes happen, but apparently someone wasnt on the same page as everyone else.

Office is clean, front desk was friendly enough. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because of the hygienist Megan, she was great with my son and did a great job cleaning his teeth. Then when she went out we sat here and waited for like 45 mins then someone came in and said “oh the dentist didn’t come in sorry we didn’t know you were in here” so they forgot about us, and then the dentist was honestly a bit rude and condescending when I asked questions, had an attitude because my 5 y/o son had grabbed the used floss off the tray… why I don’t know it was used on him. Won’t be coming back.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I got my braces removed a couple months ago after a 1year treatment and my teeth are worst that when I started. Seems like the odontologist there doesn't care about the patients he barely checked my teeth on my monthly appointments. The doctor said I was ready to get them removed but when I got them removed I noticed my teeth looked weird and aligned weird so I asked the person who removed them and he said they were good. Which is definitely not the case.

Was in need of an emergency extraction. PA Smiles was the only dental office to reasonably (price) x-ray, examine, and extract without having to wait longer than 1 day. The staff was very kind and comforting. Extraction was nice & clean. I would recommend Dr. Tran to family and friends.

I went in today for an initial appointment to see if I could get some help with a few teeth that were giving me a lot of pain. Dr Tran and Nurse Kylah if I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. No wait went right back made me feel extremely comfortable. All 3 teeth were able to be taken care of that day and it was the best dentist visit experience I have ever had. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you for actually caring about your patients!

Racist Mexicans working the front and lie about your kids dentist appts. They will tell you about your kids next appt. Then when you show up act like they never told you that and say your kids miss 3 or more appts even after showing proof. They are lazy at the front and unprofessional.

I did not have a good experience with customer services/ Receptionist.I asked them to send over X-Rays in 2022 Two months passed and they never did send the X-rays. I called back to follow up and she never gave me a explanation as to why they were not previously sent. She asked for the email address and said they would send them. 2 days later they were never sent. I called back and they asked me if I signed a release form. I stated nobody never told me anything about having to sign a release form. She said it went in affect today and they no longer could release the X-rays. They never not once in the 4 months time period tried to send the X-rays. Bad business is what I call that. Poor communication with clients. Things could have been done a lot better!

I got my braces done here January 2017 recently got them taken them off August 19,2022. They told me my treatment would be a 1yr and a half. Well it changed to 5yrs, overtime. They had to change doctors within the treatment. Cause the previous one left. I’m not happy with my experience because I still have gaps. I told them before they took it off that I don’t feel comfortable. They told me to sign the paperwork anyways and that the doctor would talk to me. Now they want to say it’s my fault because I signed the paperwork. However the receptionist told me to sign it in order to get seen. Now I have gaps in my teeth but won’t be able to talk to the doctor till next month because they only come once a month. You think after 5yrs my teeth would be 100% perfect

My experience with port Arthur smiles is one of the best I ever had. The tech ( Mimi) was wonderful she showed me how you should properly brush your teeth she kept my calm during my procedure she’s kind and caring. The dentist Dr Garg is wonderful she’s very intellectual about her job and offers help in anyway she can she’s very caring about your teeth process such as cleaning fillings or whatever you may need Port Arthur smiles is the one I would recommend to anyone

My child’s expander fell out while eating yesterday morning. Port Arthur Smiles is an amazing dentist office with an equally amazing staff. The receptionist Ida was extremely pleasant and helpful with all of my inquiries. Let me start by saying that I haven’t been to a dentist for a check up in about 7 years. And it’s been 14 years since I’ve had any kind of dental work. But my experience here was fantastic! The service was great, and the staff was very friendly. They did a wonderful job taking care of all my immediate problems, and keeping me informed of issues for the future.I enjoyed my time there(which is very peculiar to say when visiting a dentist), and actually look forward to coming back here for regular visits. Thank you to everyone that helped me out!

I would have given 4 stars if the staff had explained things to me a little bit more. I had to ask lots of questions. It felt like I was forcing them to work. Other than that, I think the dental work was done well and I am satisfied! Also, I was thankful the staff called to check on me the day after my surgical extraction. Overall it was a good experience. I edited my review to add that every time I go in for my routine cleanings they tell me I need all this work even though when I was here 6 months ago everything was fine. How do my teeth get that bad in 6 months? I feel like they are trying to make money off of me. I decided to find a new dentist.

Port Arthur Smiles has an amazing dental group. I went in for my my first time recently. I had my X-rays, cleaning and Zoom Whitening completed in a timely and efficient manner. All the staff was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. Meagan was the sweetest hygienist I ever met. She did an awesome job on my cleaning and Zoom whitening. I definitely recommend Port Arthur Smiles for all dental needs.

I needed an emergency extraction they saw me that day and was able to help me. I could not wait until Monday as some dentists has requested. This was on a Friday. Pain was at a 9 1/2 with pain med. Thank God the extraction was with little and no pain including the shots for pain. I thank God for them. They even saw me in early in the morning. Gave medicine as needed. I was and well pleased. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The cost very reasonable. Thank God for all.

Everyone was so nice! The new girl at the front desk (I didn't catch her name) was so patient & handled my confusing situation & questions well when I called yesterday to book my appointment. She also did great when I came in this morning. I also want to brag on Mimi! She was so sweet & down to earth yet professional at the same time. Going to the dentist usually makes me a little anxious but she made me feel comfortable! The dentist was also very nice. Unfortunately they weren't able to help me with what I needed done (I will have to see a specialist) but I still had a really positive experience! :)

I was having excruciating pain with teeth. They were able to see me immediately. Dr. Garg and her assistant Lorena performed an amazing job on doing 3 fillings for my cavities and a cleaning. Very professional and courteous people throughout the entire office. Today, I had 2 teeth pulled. No pain at all. Dr. Gandhi was very kind and made sure I was not in any pain. Glad those teeth are gone but even more glad I was able to go here. There was not any long waiting. I would not only recommend this place to any one but I will continue to go for further dental treatment. Thank you guys.

Such a professional staff !! Dr.Garg was amazing. Had 3 teeth in terrible shape. She got all 3 out with 0 pain. And that’s not an exaggeration. The most pain was from the numbing shots. The best dentist I’ve ever been to. The dental hygienist that assisted her was thorough and just as amazing. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Absolutely disappointed with how this establishment handles their appointments. Have been trying to get in since October of last year to get my teeth cleaned and whitened for my wedding. They rescheduled me understandably due to Beta, and I’ve never been able to get in with them since. Three times now I’ve driven over 30 minutes to their location since they’re the only ones I can find open on a Saturday, and have walked in to be told I didn’t have an appointment and it was a specialist day only (I have the cards they wrote and scheduled for me), tell me their call center had attempted to reach me and offer to reschedule me, which leads to me postponing my family plans to drive over there AGAIN to be told I again don’t have an appointment and it’s a specialist day yet again. Finally had to pull a Karen and speak with the office manager to be able to get in to get a simple cleaning done, and was also told there was no notes where ANYONE had even attempted to reach me. Ridiculous.

From the beginning to the ending "AWESOME VISIT"! I was welcomed when I walked in, and got a farewell when I left. I had an appointment and asked if I could make one for my child, while I was there. The young lady took my info and said they can see my child as well (same day). She was very helpful, polite, and professional. From the Doctors to the staff, they're very friendly and polite. Both Doctors asked me if I had any concerns or questions before they left the room. The assistant (Meme) made sure everything was set and ready and made sure we was comfortable while waiting.

This place is extremely clean.The staff members are very knowledgeable and nice. The doctors are respectful and straight forward about concerns. Some doctors beat around the bush about issues. I love this place already. But most importantly they do a great job on your teeth and they work very well with children.

Everyone is so nice and helpful, I was really worried about my son after he fell and injured his teeth and my 4 year old was terrified, the assistant made sure to take the time and explain everything to him and even let him touch the equipment first. You don’t get compassionate care like that anymore. The dentist dr patel was equally sweet and made sure I fully understood what had happened and that he was gonna be fine. I’m switching my other two kids over to this dentist because they are truly amazing.

This last Saturday was my first time going back to a dentist in many years. And they put all of my fear at ease at this wonderful place! Very efficient, sweet and helpful staff at Port Arthur Smiles. Haven’t been to a dentist in a long time! Didn’t wanna deal with the experience again. Called this place looking to get a procedure done. They had me in the office in a couple hours. Had all my insurance and prices confirmed for said procedure. Staff was great and very friendly. Never have I ever been looking forward to getting any dental work done. They have changed my mind. Looking forward to getting my procedure done with them.

I'm sure I left a review before but I really LOVE this place! The last dentist my daughter went to was very forceful with the treatments, which made her scared and uncomfortable. I switched to Port Arthur Smiles and my daughter (4 yrs old) loves it and gets very excited when it's time for an appointment. They take their time with her and if something scares her or makes her nervous, they try a different technique until they find something that she's comfortable with. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you everyone at Port Arthur Smiles, I appreciate every one of you.

The wait was very lengthy but once we went to the back it was not bad. Jennifer was very nice and helpful when it came to understand what they were going to do. I highly recommend Port Arthur Smiles.

Super sweet ladies! I called to get an appt and Kim at the front was completely delightful! Alysia did my polishing and she was super awesome, made me really comfortable and explained the process while doing it! definitely recommend!

Friendly staff. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Dr was a little rough and prices for self pay on procedures are a little high. Overall it was a good visit

Miss Jennie was very professional in what she did in helping me with my exam. She made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Kiran very good in working with me in not having any pain when he extracted my tooth. They were both great!

They have a new dentist Dr. Kiran and he's great with kids! The staff is always so nice! I brought both of my kids here back in June 2019 when they had two dentist at the time. I didn't leave happy and wasn't planning to come back. But I am so glad I came back and that they have a new dentist! We're self pay with no insurance and they have very good negotiable prices. Thank you Port Arthur Smiles!!!

My dentist (Doctor kiran) was great as was the nurse... He had excellent bedside manner, explained everything clearly and treated me like a person and not like a dollar sign....I most definitely recommend this place. Both the doctor and nurse were Friendly and made me feel comfortable. Will be making Port Arthur Smiles my permanent dentistry.

I hate going to the dentist because I feel ashamed that I haven't been in awhile since I was kid. I originally came for a limited exam but opted a full exam. The dental assistant was super nice & very educated & was very persuasive and cares too much. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

Great Dental office. Hours to accommodate and fast service! Doctor was knowledgeable and nice and answered all my questions, and the assistant, Audra was helpful and knowledgeable as well! Highly recommend!

I haven't been to dentist in over two years...I was a bit nervous to say the least. My experience was nonetheless great. The staff here are amazing. Cynthia worked with me on payment arrangement and rest assured I will be able to afford all the work I needed to get done.Dr. Kim was AMAZING. She really wants the best for her patients. She was really thorough with my visit. She walked me through every thing she was going to do and explained why it needed to be done. After examining my mouth she found a sensitive way to improve my overall mouth. She took the time to teach me how to properly brush by showing me in my mouth and helping me understand each step. She gave me better insight on flossing as well. After 43 years I officially know how to correctly brush my teeth.

My experience was great!! 10/10 and the doctor’s assistant was very professional and polite. Looking forward to getting more dental issues fixed there. Really recommend it!!! But i feel like the assistants should get more props for what they do!! 👏

The experience was as pleasant as I could have imagined for a visit to the dentist. It was fast and the staff and the doctor were friendly and courteous. The cost for services was very reasonable. Thank you.

I waited a very long time each time. But the staff is irreplaceable and the work is don3 well. worth the wait in my opinion. They calm the children and work with them.

These people are AMAZING!! Been in pain for 3 days with this tooth, called at 8 when they opened and they said "come on in now and we will see what we can do." Went in and waited maybe 15 minutes tops before being called to the back. Got xrays and plan of extraction within a few minutes of being in the back. Extraction was needed!! Thank the Lord I didn't have any infection. They were so kind and gentle, very informative on the healing process and very helpful. I will be back to see then. I highly recommend them. The office was clean and the staff courteous and well spoken. God bless this office. I swear they are life savers.

I really enjoy my experience at Port Arthur Smiles I get all my work done over there friendly staff, Jennie excellent Dentist , Dr. Kiran never had a problem over there I totally recommend them to anyone looking for a Dental Family. I was just there today to get treatment then back again after that I believe its every 6 months for cleanings I maybe wrong but they will call u when it's time for check ups and cleanings.They take their time on your treatment and cleaning the wait is worth the visit. 🦷👩‍⚕️🦷👨‍⚕️🦷

I would like to thank the staff at Port Arthur Smiles they are very helpful & understanding. They provided exceptional service to me and my family. This place was just a googled dentist & now I am going to continue to come here. I am from Louisiana, I don't have many recommendations. I kinda winged this one and it ended up being the best experience I could have asked for.

The entire staff is friendly and professional. The dentist take time to explain every procedure and make sure that you are comfortable. They are patient and gentle. I never feel rushed or over looked. Thanks again for excellent service!

I want to thank the staff of Port Arthur Smiles for a great experience starting from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Everyone was so professional and personal. I haven't had professional service as such in a long time. They are definitely my dental team from this point forward. Again thank you all.

Staff at front desk was really nice and helpful, they explained my dental plan thoroughly and got me in and out in a timely manner.. Dentist did a great job on my dental work and everyone was pleasant to be around. Facility is clean and I would recommend them to everyone.
